Wirlab is based on cooperation with world's leading research centers, universities, enterprises and networking experts. This enables a wide look over the future technologies around the world, while finding a narrow high tech area in which to become one of world's leading network research centers.

Wirlab is coordinated by University of Tampere - Institute for Extension Studies (Seinäjoki Unit).
